Students make State Finalists cut in competition

Cassville Middle School students and members of the Cassville Middle School Technology Students Association (TSA) recently took several wins at the TSA competition in Rolla. The Cassville Middle School Technology Students Association (TSA) recently traveled to Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla to compete in the TSA state competition. The group was established at CMS in 2017 and is led by co-sponsors and educators Jake Forste and Robbie Artherton.

Winners included

• second, Medical Technology -- Jaycie Ertel, Sam Sparkman, Lexi Yockey

• second, Challenging Technology Issues--Alyzea Myers and Lexi Yockey 

• second, Essay on Technology --  Sam Sparkman

• second, Children's Story Alyzea Myers and Jaycie Ertel

State Finalists included

• Coding, Quixote Gautney-Lopez and Jon Oliphant 

• Community Service Video -- Jillian LeCompte, Alyzea Myers, Lexi Yockey, Sam Sparkman, Jaycie Ertel

• Tech Bowl-- Jillian LeCompte, Jon Oliphant, Quixote Gautney-Lopez

• Video Game Design-- Quixote Gautney-Lopez and Jon Oliphant
