Claudia Chlorene “Chlo” Treat

Claudia Chlorene “Chlo” Treat, 90, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Cassville Health Care and Rehabilitation.

She was born Sept. 29, 1927, in Flippin, Ark., the daughter of Claud and Opal (Bussell) Foster. On Jan. 28, 1944, she was united in marriage to Cecil Treat, who survives.

Also surviving are one son, David Treat and his wife Lori of Cassville, Missouri; two daughters, Donna Medders and her husband Howell of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Chelle Treat Catron of Springfield, Missouri; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, Max Foster and one sister, Jean Pemberton.

She grew up in Arkansas and attended school at Big Flat. For many years, she was a clerk in department stores in Little Rock, Springdale and Branson. In 1976, she moved to Cassville where she and Cecil owned and operated Park Road Court on highway 112 near Cassville. She was a member of Mill Street Church of Christ in Cassville.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at Mill Street Church of Christ under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Ken West will conduct the services. Burial will be at 1 p.m. April 2 at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale, Ark.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Saturday at Mill Street Church of Christ.
