Silver Discovery to hold April meeting
Silver Discovery will hold its next meeting on Thursday, April 5, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 20801 YY 15 Road, Shell Knob. Lunch will be provided.
The host, Central Crossing Senior Center, will present on services available to the community. Sheila House will also present on Alzheimer support. The group will also be discussing its Senior Health Fair.
Area providers are welcome to bring literature and business cards to share with the group to spotlight their services and obtain referral resources, and attendees will have an opportunity to briefly introduce themselves and share a few words about their program and services. The meeting is open for Mercy employees to attend as well. Attendees may bring a guest.
Silver Discovery is a networking group that helps provide resources for seniors, and is dedicated to meeting seniors' physical and emotional needs as well as enhancing their lives. The goal of each meeting is to share ideas, promote area programs and services, and educate seniors on the availability of services, thereby meeting a great need in local communities to advocate for the senior population.
