Senior program welcomes new therapist

Mercy Hospital Cassville’s Senior Life Solutions Program welcomes new therapist Pamela Smith, MSW, LCSW as its new Program Therapist. 

Senior Life Solutions, an intensive outpatient group therapy program, is designed to meet the unique needs of older adults over the age of 65 struggling with depression and anxiety often related to aging.  As Program Therapist, Smith will be responsible for providing therapeutic services for patients utilizing group, individual, and family therapy sessions.  

A graduate of Southwest Missouri State University, Smith earned her bachelor of science in psychology in 1992, and a Master’s degree in social work in 2003.  She is a seasoned therapist, having provided therapy in a number of health care settings.

Smith said, “I am excited to be part of this innovative program that allows seniors to live life to the fullest!”
