Leona Hancock, 61, of Washburn, passed away Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark.
She was born July 7, 1956, in Lubbock, Texas, the daughter of Leon and Myrtle Daily. On April 8, 2006, she was united in marriage to Robert Hancock, who survives.
Additional survivors include: her mother, Myrtle Daily; two children, Nicholas Harper and his wife Danica of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Bethany Hoyt of Edmond, Okla.; two step-children, Robert Hancock and his wife Victoria of Republic, and DeAnna Sykes and her husband, Michael of Nixa; her mother-in-law, Charlotte Hancock of Eagle Rock; two brothers; three sisters; and six grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her father, Leon Daily and one sister, Katherine Daily.
She graduated from high school and then received her bachelorís degree from the University of Oklahoma. She had been employed at Walmart in Bentonville, Ark., in the technical department.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
