Thanks to an anonymous donor, the Bright Futures chapter at Cassville school district has purchased medical first-aid kits for all preschool through 12th-grade classrooms. First-aid kits include medical items such as a cleanser, antibacterial ointment, scissors and different types of bandages. Bright Futures, established at Cassville Schools in 2011, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing community members together to focus on the success of children. In photo, Cassville Middle School student Corey Thomas presents teacher Mark Elliot with a first-aid kit for his classroom.
