Dayle Francis Bauer, 77, of Shell Knob, passed away Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at her home.

She was born Nov. 26, 1940, in Wichita, Kan., the daughter of Randall and ODessa (Miles) Woolaway. On March 18, 2006, in Shell Knob she was united in marriage to Jerry Bauer, who survives.

Additional survivors include: one son, Kevin Stockton and his wife Annie of Ft. Smith, Ark.; a stepson, Mike Bauer and his wife Cheryl of Independence; two step-daughters, Diane Young of Olathe, Kan., and Cindy Corbin and her husband Mark of Highlandville; 11 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, J.R. Woolaway and two grandchildren.

She was a graduate of Cassville High School and then attended beauty school. She had been employed as a secretary for Carmen Construction in Shell Knob. She was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church in Cassville, the Lions Club and Eagles.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Cassville under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Shell Knob. Burial will be at Corinth Cemetery in Cassville.
