The Central Crossing Senior Center held their annual Christmas party in Shell Knob on Friday, Dec. 15.

Along with the fabulous ham and turkey dinner served with all the fixings, and pie 'a la mode, seniors enjoyed entertainment from the Table Rocketts Line Dancers.

The highlight of the party was the Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest. There were a total of five entrants. Arlene Sloop took first prize, at 10 free lunches at the Center; Milo and Jessica Riley took second prize, winning five free lunches; and Chloe Gibbons came in third, winning one free lunch ticket for two people.

The line dancing group meets at the Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 a.m., and welcome new members.

After the New Year, other activities will resume after a break for the holidays.

Domino players will meet at 12:30 p.m. on Mondays; Bingo players at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesdays; and WII Bowling at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. The Center has plenty of programs to stay fit in mind, body and spirit, and invites seniors to partake in the fun.
