Lee “Allen” Duncan

Lee “Allen” Duncan, 76, of Exeter, passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, at Kansas City VA Medical Center in Kansas City.

He was born Feb. 8, 1941, in Wheaton, the son of Eschol H. and Elaine (Brock) Duncan. He was united in marriage to Cynthia Hudspeth and to this union were born two daughters, Melanie Fedo of Holt and Kristen Fenton and her husband David of Kansas City, who survive. Additional survivors include: two stepdaughters, Donna Walker and her husband Roger of Shell Knob, and Cindy Robertson of Kansas City; two grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and great grandchildren. On Nov. 12, 1988, he married Doris “Paula” Miller, who preceded him in death. Others preceding him in death were his parents; one stepson, Mark Edgemon; one stepdaughter, Paula Middleton and a step-grandson.

He grew up and received his education at Wheaton where he graduated from high school. During the Vietnam War, he was in the U.S. Air Force. For several years, he was employed as a mechanic for TWA Airlines.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 30, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Jerry Yarnall conducted the services. Burial with military honors was at Chitwood Cemetery in Wheaton.
