Seniors filled their plates with traditional Thanksgiving fixings on Thursday, Nov. 16 at the Cassville Senior Center, which hosted its annual Thanksgiving feast. Over 130 seniors and members of the community came out to enjoy the meal, which included choice of turkey or ham, mashed or sweet potatoes, stuffing, sides, a dessert table and coffee or tea. Barry County Commissioner Wayne Hendrix paid for everyone’s meal again this year, which was priced at only $3.50 for the feast. Center Administrator Kristina Atwood said the center was grateful for Hendrix’ generosity. Julia Kilmer/reporter@cassville-democrat.com
