Central Crossing celebrates Halloween senior style

Wednesday, November 15, 2017
The Central Crossing Senior Center in Shell Knob celebrated Halloween ‘senior style,’ Oct. 31, with its own Halloween Spooktacular. The event featured a costume contest and lunch on a Pile of Bones (ribs); Bat Wings (chicken wings); and Mummies in a Blanket (hot dogs) with mac & cheese. A large selection of desserts including dirt pudding, cupcakes and punch rounded off the feast the kitchen staff worked so hard to prepare. The Center invites anyone to visit for food and fellowship Monday through Friday at the Center, which is located on YY-15 in Shell Knob. A menu and schedule of activities for November can be viewed at: www.centralcrossingseniorcenter.org. Pictured in photo, from left, are costume contestants: Arlene Sloop, first place; Rita Warner; Joyce Forkner, second place; Joni Herzog and Rita Goodhead. Contributed photo
