Wednesday, October 11, 2017
On Sept. 19, 26 schools from Region 11 Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) attended the FCCLA Region 11 Fall Leadership Workshop at Carthage Nazarene. The annual leadership workshop’s purpose is to inform student leaders how to become more active in their chapter and community. The workshop was broken into two main parts: leadership sessions led by Region 11 officers, and breakout sessions led by community leaders and organizations. Members were able to choose two different leadership sessions from 14 options, and two different workout sessions from 13 options. The Region 11 Fall Leadership Workshop was a great success. A total of 247 student leaders and 31 advisors were able to take home great ideas for their schools and communities.
