Members from the Exeter FFA Chapter attended Salute to Agriculture, co-sponsored by PFI Western Wear, Missouri Farm Bureau and the William H. Darr College of Agriculture on Friday, Sept. 8. Over 1,400 FFA members from 37 chapters were treated to a meal, a round of agricultural olympics and yard games, concluding at the John Q. Hammons Arena to enjoy a PBR PFI Western Invitational. Industry leaders were on hand to remind students that agriculture is important and food will feed the world.

Lt. Governor Mike Parsons, Missouri Farm Bureau President, Blake Hurst and PFI Western Store Marketing Official Courtney Little-Ash, were on hand to greet the students, thank them for their interest in agriculture, and encourage them to pursue a future in the industry. The William H. Darr College of Agriculture houses over 800 students, providing them with 10 different majors and eight minors to provide a foundation to successfully work in the agriculture industry.
