Central Crossing searching for help

The Central Crossing Senior Center is in need of drivers for home delivered meals. The Center has a weekly opening for one of the two routes on Tuesdays and an opening for another route driver on the fourth Friday of each month. A Center volunteer meal driver will provide training, and the driver may do it alone or as a couple. It requires about one and a half to two hours. The Center is also in need of a kitchen helper every Tuesday and/or Friday for about three hours from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. Those who can only work once or twice a month would be appreciated, as well. People may see the Central Crossing Senior Center Administrator, Terri, or Center volunteers, Janet or Rita, if interested in finding out more.

Funds being collected for heart surgery

The Central Crossing Senior Center is holding a fundraising drive for Tracy Warner to receive heart surgery. People may donate to the “Get Well Tracy Warner” fund at the Arvest Bank in Shell Knob.
