Wilma Jean Greek
Wilma Jean Greek, 82, of Cassville, passed away Aug. 14, 2017, at Cassville Health Care & Rehab, Cassville.
She was born on Aug. 31, 1934, in Cassville, the daughter of Leonard LeRoy and Emogene (Ennis) Thomas who preceded her in death. On June 28, 1954, in Purdy, she was united in marriage to Robert William Greek who passed away on May 18, 1998. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Thelma Rhoades, Velma Plotner and Barbara Rhoades; and one son, Gary Dale Greek.
Survivors include: four sons, Larry Greek and his wife Janice, Jerry Greek, James Greek and Charles Greek and his wife Donna all of Cassville; one brother, John Thomas of Thornton, Colo.; four sisters, Mary Lovell of Edmond, Okla., Connie Gorges of Wichita, Kan., Margaret Thomas of Pueblo, Colo., and Doris Rasa of Kansas City; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She attended Cross Hollows School near Cassville for eight years and then graduated from Cassville High School.
She and Robert lived in Kansas a few years while Robert worked in the oil fields. For several years she worked at Fasco, retiring in 1994.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Cassville.
Services were held Aug. 17 in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor James Weaver conducted the services. Burial was at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Cassville.
