Cassville Chamber celebrates grand opening, ribbon-cutting with Blake Fields

Wednesday, August 23, 2017
On the same day as Monday’s solar eclipse, the Cassville Chamber of Commerce, along with Attorney Blake Fields and several members of the community, celebrated the grand opening of his new business location at 605 Main St. Fields and his family, mother Gayle and father Gary, and contractor Johnnie Hilery and T.J. Daniels, ended up putting in nearly two years of work to remodel the building after several rotted trusses were discovered. Their hard work eventually paid off, transforming the space, which previously belonged to the late Attorney Tom Cardin, and Chiropractor Kristy Montz, into a timeless, elegant interior with cathedral ceilings, walnut-stained floors, neutral tones, historic photos of the community taken by Fields’ great-grandparents Ma and Pa Fields and son, Max, and a home-like sitting area featuring a large fireplace, to make clients feel comfortable. Gayle Fields is credited with the design, theme and decor. In photo, Fields is pictured in the center cutting ribbon with his father Gary, directly behind him, and his mother Gayle, and contractor Hilery, on the far right. Fields’ areas of practice include personal injury, estate planning, criminal law, family law and DUIs. He can be reached at 417-847-9999. Contributed photo
