Students sport new Hoverboards

Wednesday, August 16, 2017
Friends Chloe Ragan, 12, left, and Sara Longley, 12, both of which will be starting seventh grade at Cassville Middle School next week, enjoyed the last week of their summer taking their futuristic new hoverboards for a spin in downtown Cassville Thursday, after stopping by Whitley’s for a shake, then to Dollar General. The boards operate by battery power and when fully charged, last about two hours. Longley’s hoverboard has a built-in speaker. But the best thing about them, the girls say, is, “We don’t have to walk.”. Julia Kilmer/reporter@cassville-democrat.com
