Purdy Class of ‘67 holds reunion

Classmates of the 1967 class of Purdy High School met on June 24, at the Black Angus Restaurant in Monett, to mark 50 years since their graduation. In attendance was: Jonathan Eden and wife, Tammy; Stephen Davis and wife, Debra; Denise (Linebarger) Ridenour and husband, Ronnie; Madonna Sipes; Mary Balmas; Diana (Simpson) West; Linda (King) McCaskill, husband, Don, and her 103-year-old mother, Edna King; Charlie Lauderdale and wife, Connie; Evelyn (Meister) Hutchens and husband, Bob; Jeannie (Balmas) Lupe; Kenneth Saloga; and Brenda (Terry) Popplewell.  Guests included Patty (Brittenham) Burge, and Jimmy Thomas and his sister, Pauletta (Thomas) Lowe.  Visiting, picture-taking, and a meal was enjoyed. Later that day, the classmates (except Madonna Sipes), attended the Purdy Alumni Association meeting at the Purdy School cafeteria, where they were the honored class.
