Mildred Lucille Harris
Mildred Lucille Harris, 91, of Kansas City, Kan., (formerly of Monett) passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017, at her home in Kansas City. She was born in Cassville, on April 28, 1926, the daughter of the late Everett and Edna (Noble) Beeson. She was united in marriage on April 18, 1945, in Bentonville, Ark., to Ray Harris and he preceded her in death on Sept. 7, 1996.
She was retired from Jumping Jacks in Monett and a member of the East Side Church of Christ in Monett.
Survivors include: two sons, Rick Harris and Jackie Harris both of Monett; one daughter, Linda Ramsey of Kansas City, Kan.; one sister, Eunice Moreno of Salisbury, Md.; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Edna; her husband, Ray; and two sons, J.R. and Bobby Harris.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 5, at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel in Monett, with Rev. Don Deffenbaugh officiating. Burial was at the Ennis Cemetery in Cassville.
Arrangements were under the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
