Cassville Youth Advisory Board fills 20 bags of trash in downtown park

The newly reorganized Cassville Youth Advisory Board met Friday morning to clean up their community — starting with the downtown city park in Cassville, filling 20 bags of trash in one of their first community-service projects.

About eight members of the Youth Advisory Board, which was recently reorganized, worked to clean up the downtown city park Friday morning. Members said on the group’s Facebook page that they were excited to see a healthier-looking environment at the downtown park, which has had problems with trash littering and vandalism.
