Donald G. Keeton, 69, of Monett, passed away at his home on Friday, July 21, 2017. He was born on Dec. 7, 1947, in Monett, son of H. Guy and Hallie (Beck) Keeton. He was a 1965 graduate of Monett High School. He joined the U.S. Air Force on May 21, 1965, and was promoted to Master Sergeant in 1987. He attended John’s Chapel in Ash Grove.
Survivors include: his wife, Linda Keeton, of Monett; one son, Donald “Gene” Keeton, of Monett; one daughter, Rachael Darter, of Monett; one stepson, Michael Mooney and his wife Marge, of Springfield; two step-daughters, Lisa Earring, of Paola, Kan., and Laurie Blanco, of Ottawa, Kan.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruth Aldridge and her husband Lanny, of Cassville, and Judy Morris and her husband Lones, of Benton, La.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Keeton and Clarence R. Keeton; and two sisters, Maurine Hash and Marilyn Drollinger.
Funeral services will held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26, at the White Funeral Home and Crematory, with Pastor Ron Fieker officiating; burial with full military honors to follow at Sparks Cemetery.
