Wichita group ejected from EZ Go Shuttle

Five Wichita, Kan., residents were injured on Saturday in a wreck at 5 p.m. on Knob Hill Lane in Shell Knob.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Merle Bell, 64, of Wichita, Kan., was driving an EX Go Shuttle northbound when her vehicle struck an embankment all occupants were ejected.

Bell suffered moderate injuries, and Nancy Cone, 66, of Wichita, Kan., suffered minor injuries. Both were transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Berryville, Ark.

Tyrone Jackson, 16, Maxx Bell, 16, and Cooper Bauer, 16, all of Wichita, Kan., suffered minor injuries and were transported by private vehicle to Mercy Hospital in Berryville.

None were wearing safety devices, and the vehicle sustained minor damage.
