2 bikes involved in crash on Highway 112

Three people were injured Saturday when two motorcycles were involved in a wreck at 8:15 p.m. on Highway 112, one mile north of Roaring River State Park.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Dale Tanner, 50, of Cassville, was riding a 2005 Honda VTX northbound when his bike left the roadway and ejected the driver, then reentered the roadway and struck a 2015 Yamaha Roadster, being driven by Anthony Cypret, 33, of Cassville.

Tanner suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark. Cypret suffered minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene. A passenger on his motorcycle, Casey Cypret, 29, of Cassville, suffered moderate injuries and was also transported to Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark.

All three were wearing safety devices. The Honda was totaled, and the Yamaha sustained extensive damage.
