Teen injured in wreck Saturday
Vehicle runs stop sign west of Exeter
A Rocky Comfort teenager was injured Saturday in a wreck at 11:30 a.m. on Highway 76, a quarter of a mile west of Exeter.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Bucky Harrell, 18, of Rocky Comfort, was driving a 1998 Mazda B3000 westbound when a 1995 Ford F250, being driven by Jeremy Cape, 34, of Purdy, failed to stop for a stop sign and pulled into the path of his vehicle.
Harrell suffered moderate injuries and was transported by private vehicle to Grove Hospital in Grove, Okla. Cape was not injured.
Both were wearing safety devices, and both vehicles were totaled.
