James Edward Crider

James Edward Crider, 85, of Marshfield, formerly of Wheaton, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017, at the Marshfield Care Center in Marshfield. He was born April 15, 1932, in Wheaton, the son of the late Charlie McKinley and Zelpha Rae (Hyden) Crider.

He was a 1950 graduate of Wheaton High School and was a farmer.

On Jan. 4, 1958, he married Bonnie M. Garrison, in Miami, Okla. She preceded him in death.

Survivors include: his two daughters, Sheila Crider of Pea Ridge, Ark., and Denise Cunningham of Exeter; two brothers, Billy Joe Crider and his wife, Mary, of Carl Junction, and Les Crider and his wife, Kitty, of Mt. Vernon; one sister, Liz Hunt of Lenexa, Kan., and two granddaughters.

A graveside service, under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon, was held at Thursday, June 8 at the Muncie Chapel Cemetery in Wheaton.
