20-year-old being held on $50,000 cash bond

A Crane man was arrested on May 22 for allegedly making a threat to “shoot up a school” on his social media page.

Damien Hilton, 20, of Crane, is charged with second-degree terroristic threatening.

According to a probable cause report filed by Deputy Kyle Rhea, with the Barry County Sheriff’s Office, Hilton allegedly posted a status on Facebook saying, “350 like/reactions and ima shoot up a school.” Hilton also allegedly said “If somebody show up here ian know ima blow they [explicative] brains out.”

Hilton is being held in the Barry County jail on a cash-only bond of $50,000. He has been arraigned, and a disposition hearing is scheduled for June 6 at 8:30 a.m. in the courtroom of Judge Robert Foulke.
