Legion posts flags for Memorial Day

Wednesday, May 31, 2017
The American Legion post in Cassville spent a couple hours on Sunday putting up U.S. Flags on Highway 112 and Main Street, from Casey’s to Highway Y and the high school, for Memorial Day, honoring soldiers and veterans no longer alive. Pete Landstad, member of Flag Crew 1 that puts up the flags, hangs the first of many outside the Legion’s building on Highway 112. Landstad and Jim Stephens put up the flags on Sunday, and another crew removed them on Monday. Kyle Troutman/editor@cassville-democrat.com
