Joplin Outlaws come to Cassville to start the season

The Cassville Arrows collegiate baseball team opens the regular season on Thursday at 7 p.m. against the Joplin Outlaws, signaling the start of the independent wood bat summer collegiate baseball season.

Other June home dates include a dual with Ozark at 7 p.m. on June 9 and then again on June 10 at 2 p.m.

A 2 p.m. game against the Midwest National on June 17, with the Outlaws coming back to town on June 23 at 7 p.m. and one more home match against the Jeff City Renegades at 7 p.m. on June 29.

Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children 13-17 and free for children 12-and-under.

The Arrows’ roster this season contain four familiar names to Cassville fans in alumni Leigh Cox, Alex Dyer, Chad Howerton and Noah Hadlow.

Also joining the squad are: Michael Brown, Sunrise Beach; Marcus Crawford, Neosho; Brian DeVivo, Macks Creek; Ryan Hickman, Springfield; Smith Kemper, Mokane; Derek Krieg, Thayer; Christian Kuzemka, Wasco, Il; Chance Liveoak, Granby; Rocky Liveoak, Granby; Cody Malan, Springfield; Tanner Ryan, Springfield; Cecil Smith, Hayes, Kan.; Shilo Thompson, Hollister; Trynton Thompkins, Williamsville; and Colton Vaught, Crane.
