Programs offered to encourage summer reading

The Barry-Lawrence Regional Library has presented its 2017 summer reading club and program.

Registration for the program is now open at all branches.

This year's theme is entitled "Build a Better World," and all branches, including the Cassville branch, will be offering a wide variety of programs and incentives to encourage children and adults to keep up their reading over the summer months, especially as a family.

During June and July, customers of all ages will have the opportunity to participate in activities at all branch locations. To motivate participants, incentives are being offered, including Kindle Fire HD tablets, which lucky six grand prize winners will receive.

For more information about the summer reading club and programs, including a schedule of events, people may call or visit branch locations, or visit online at http://tlc.library.net/bll/.

The 2017 Summer Reading Club and programs are made possible with the support of local communities, the Walmart Foundation and Friends of the Libraries.
