CircusSaurus debuts in Cassville
Carson & Barnes Circus: 'This is the real circus'
The Carson & Barnes Circus will present its debut performance of 'CircusSaurus' in Cassville for one night only, today (Wednesday) at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
"The World’s Biggest, Big Top Show" features two hours of fun, excitement and pageantry for children of all ages.
Featuring "dinosaurs alive," attendees can watch in amazement as the big top transforms to a time machine dating back millions of years, embarking on the adventure of a lifetime.
People will see elephants, horses, ponies and dogs perform tricks in the center ring, and be thrilled by extraordinary artists from around the world as they entertain with death-defying feats, trapeze thrills while dangling high in the air, and exquisite artistry. People may also laugh with the circus clowns, and every seat is just feet from the action.
Attendees may come early, as the Midway opens one hour before showtime with a free petting zoo, plus elephant and camel rides.
"The circus is a classic institution of American history," organizers said. "This is the real circus that you remember from your childhood, that has entertained America for over eight decades. Since 1937, the circus has traveled over one million miles to bring its one-of-a-kind show to families."
To purchase tickets, people may call 580-743-7292. Discounted tickets are available online at www.bigtopshow.com. A free child's ticket is available at the Cassville Democrat office. Tickets may also be purchased at the event.
