Controlled meth buy leads to arrest
Undercover officer buys of meth from Seligman man
A Seligman man is facing a felony drug charge after allegedly selling methamphetamine to an undercover officer in a controlled buy.
According to a probable cause report filed by the officer, whose name is being withheld to protect the officer's identity, on Feb. 23, the officer allegedly purchased about 3.3 grams of suspected methamphetamine from Stevenson at a home in Seligman.
A field test allegedly showed a positive result for the meth, which was purchased for $240 in a controlled buy using state investigative funds.
Stevenson is being held in the Barry County jail on a $40,000 bond. He has been arraigned, and a disposition hearing is scheduled for Thursday in the courtroom of Judge Robert Foulke.
