Exeter National Honor Society inducts new members

The Susan Doty Chapter of National Honor Society for Exeter High School met on Tuesday, April 18 for the purpose of inducting new members into its chapter. All students who were inducted met criteria present in the bylaws of the chapter. During the ceremony, four new members were recognized for exhibiting the four symbols of the National Honor Society qualities. These students are: Quartny Allen, scholarship; Jared Alverson, service; Jarrett Brattin, leadership; and Rebecca Barton, character. Speakers for the evening included Lucretia Brattin, chapter advisor who recognized senior members and their parents, and Robert Taylor, Exeter High School principal, who spoke on the importance of leadership in our schools.
