Albert O. Beck
Albert O. Beck, 72, of Seligman, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017, at his home.
He was born Aug. 24, 1944, in Clarksville, Miss., the son of Leonard Henry and Ruby Louise (Perice) Beck. On Oct. 24, 1970, he was united in marriage to Shirley Hendrix, who survives.
Additional survivors include: one son, Allen Beck of Seligman; two daughters, Melissa Smith and her husband Danny of Seligman, and Marci Beck of Missouri; five brothers, Bobby Beck and his wife Vita of Mansfield, Melvin Beck and his wife Sally of Oklahoma, Leonard Beck, Jr. and his wife Joyce of Butterfield, Thomas Beck and Wayne Beck and his wife Mary of Exeter; four sisters, Judy Owens and her husband Jim of Little Rock, Ark.,, Linda Ames and her husband Mark of Washington, Mavis McKelvey and her husband Roger of Rogers, Ark., and Ginny Utter of Tulsa, Okla.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, James Beck.
He was a self-employed truck driver. Thirty years ago, he moved to Seligman to make his home. Services will be held a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
