CMS students excel at first Missouri S&T competition

Cassville Middle School students from the Technical Student Association (TSA) recently competed at the Missouri S&T state competition, and were awarded 12 medals as a team. The 2016-2017 school year marks the inaugural year for the TSA at the school. Top 10 finishes include: Career Prep, Dylan  Berndt; Children’s Story, Jacie Ertel; Problem Solving, Zane Mebruer and Berndt; Video Game Design, Ryan Yang and Russell Dunker. Four of the students placed in the Top-Five finishes, including Technology Essay, Zane Mebruer. Two state runner-up finishes included: Alyzea Myers, Environmental Engineering; and the Tech Bowl team, which included Berndt, Dunker and Mebruer. One championship trophy for the Medical Technology team  included Sam Sparkman, Lexi Yockey and Jacie Ertel.
