Charles W. Warren, 85, of Exeter, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Mercy Hospital in Cassville.
He was born March 13, 1932, at Exeter the son of Joe and Ethel (Higgs) Warren. On Dec. 24, 1955, he was united in marriage to Barbara (Ennis) Warren, who survives.
Additional survivors include: one brother, Cherry Warren and his wife Ann of Purdy, and three sisters, June Brandt of Monett, Bonnie Lambeth and her husband Jack of Cassville, and Virginia Terry and her husband Roger of Monett.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
He grew up and received his education at Exeter where he graduated from high school. During the Korean War he served in the U.S. Army. For over 20 years, he was employed for General Motors and Chevrolet in Kansas City. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church at Exeter.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Steve Higgs conducted the services. Burial with military honors was at Maplewood Cemetery at Exeter.
