Spring playoff softball begins on Monday, and for several area teams, that means a trip to this year’s host site Clever.

Purdy was voted the No. 1 overall seed in this year’s eight-team pod.

Clever was slotted as the No. 2 seed, followed by Southwest, No. 3; Wheaton, No. 4; Exeter, No. 5; Marionville, No. 6; Billings, No. 7; and Verona, No. 8.

The Lady Eagles open play Monday at 4:30 against Verona and are followed by Wheaton and Exeter at 6 p.m.

On Tuesday, Billings and Clever square off at 4:30 p.m., followed by Southwest and Marionville at 6 p.m.

Semifinal action is slated for Wednesday, with the Monday winners playing at 4:30 p.m. and the Tuesday victors battling at 6 p.m.

The championship tilt is set for May 4 at 6 p.m.
