Southwest FFA students take wins at district

The Southwest FFA chapter recently had two contest teams and three speakers qualify for state competition.

Poultry placed seventh at districts, Soils placed 10th at districts, Creed placed third at districts, Division 1 Speaking placed first at districts, and Extemporaneous Speaking placed fifth at districts.

Southwest FFA also had five students receive their state degrees. The chapter will be recognized on stage for their Silver rating in National Chapter, and for winning the Hammon's Walnut Gathering competition. Students will attend State FFA Convention April 19 - 21.
