Counterfeit bills floating around Cassville

According to the Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce, there have been multiple cases of counterfeit money turned in recently, especially in $20 bills. Businesses are asked to be careful and watch for counterfeit money.

Shell Knob Chamber hosting social media classes for businesses

The Shell Knob Chamber Economic Committee is sponsoring a series of classes with the Missouri State University and SBTDC on “Digital Marketing for Your Business.” There will be a series of three sessions, with two topics in each session. Cost for Chamber Members will be $10 per topic or $20 per session. All sessions will be held at the Central Crossing Senior Center on Wednesdays. April 19 from 2-5:30 p.m. will be Social Media 101 and Social Media 102. May 10 from 2-5:30 p.m. will be Facebook for Business and Develop Your Online Presence. May 17 from 2-5:30 p.m. will be Grow Your Business with Social Media and Social Media Timesavers.

Cassville FFA hosting fish fry, labor auction

The Cassville FFA Booster Club is hosting a fish fry and labor auction Thursday at 6 p.m. in the Cassville High School commons area. The meal will include fried fish or chicken, french fries, coleslaw and cornbread for a $10 donation. Desserts will be included in the auction. Students auctioned will be in pairs of two and have a 4-hour work day.The dates will be scheduled between the student and the buyer.

Eagle Rock events upcoming
