Sue A. Roddy, 68, of Shell Knob, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at Circle of Life Hospice Home at Legacy Village in Bentonville, Ark.

She was born Jan. 22, 1949, in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Roger Fredrick and Lydia Irene (May) Rice. On April 7, 1990 in Springfield, Ohio she was united in marriage to Lee Alan Roddy, who survives.

Additional survivors include: two sons, Matthew Roddy and his wife Holly of Coatesville, Penn., and Brent Roddy of Fort Wayne, Ind., and two daughters, Rhonda Dunkley and her husband Chad of London, Ohio, and Robyn Thomas and her husband Devin of Springfield, Ohio; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Alan Rice of Alpharetta, Ga., and Kevin Rice and his wife Tammy of Gainesville, Fla.; and one sister, Karol See of Springfield, Ohio. She graduated from Springfield (Ohio) North High School with the Class of 1967. In 1970, she graduated from Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing as a registered nurse. She was a member of Shell Knob First Christian Church where memorial services were held Friday. Pastor Tom Rees conducted the services.

Cremation arrangements were under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Shell Knob.
