Purdy kindergarten students explore rooms in Round-Up

Each of the three kindergarten classes in Purdy, which each have 15 students, were open for tours by incoming students. Audie Hutson, who presently attends the Purdy preschool, was impressed with one of the learning toys in the classroom he viewed. “This is going to be fun,” he said to his mother, Kristy Hutson. Parents of next year’s kindergarten students who were unable to attend the Kindergarten Round-Up may call Kimberly Utter at 417-442-3216, ext. 1, to schedule a screening. Students entering kindergarten in the Purdy school district next fall had a chance to meet teachers and tour classrooms on Thursday as part of the Kindergarten Round-Up.
