Kelley Gene Williamson
Kelley Gene Williamson, 57, of Cassville, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017, in Texas.
He was born Aug. 30, 1959, in Monett, the son of Ronald Gene “Tex” and Norma Lea (Dilbeck) Williamson.
Survivors include: his mother, Norma Lea Williamson of Cassville; one daughter, Sheena Bittle and her husband Tim of Wheaton; one sister, Rhonda Craig and her husband David of Cassville; two grandchildren; a special person, Carol Sneed-Jalbert and her children, Misty Kirk of Tahlequah, Okla., Rene and Destiny Jalbert of Exeter, Roger Jalbert of Tulsa, Okla., and Gage and Rikki Jalbert of Santa Clarita, Calif.
He grew up and received his education in Cassville where he graduated from high school. In 1980, he purchased Williamson Jewelry Store and also owned Diamond W Carwash and Convenience Store and he was a storm chaser for The Weather Channel. He had been a rodeo clown for ACRA. He was an avid bass fisherman, and was a FLW Bassmaster, a USTRC Team Roper. He also raised chickens and cattle, baled hay for many farmers.
Funeral services were held Monday at Cassville First Baptist Church under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Paul Wahlert conducted the services. Burial was at Sparks Cemetery at Butterfield.
