Carolyn L. Harper

Carolyn L. Harper, 76, of Rogers, Ark., and most recently, Nixa, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Friday, March 10, 2017. She was born on July 3, 1940, in Stella, daughter of M.V. “Johnny” and Ava Leigh (Rhea) Brown. She attended Paseo High School in Kansas City. She worked for Walmart CMI as a claims adjuster in Rogers, Ark., for 18 plus years and retired in April 2016.

Survivors include: one son, Nick Harper, of Rudy, Ark.; one daughter, Tammy Busby and her husband Jeff, of Nixa; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Tim Brown and his wife Leesa, of Blue Springs and David Brown and his wife Theresa, of Lee’s Summit.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Northwest Arkansas Women’s Shelter and entrusted to the White Funeral Home P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, March 15 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the White Funeral Home and Crematory with graveside services to follow at 3:30 p.m. at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter with Pastor Robert Teegarden officiating.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville.
