Missouri S&T announces fall 2016 honor list

 

Missouri University of Science and Technology announced the names of students who made the honor list for the fall 2016 semester. From Cassville, sophomore and computer science major Dillon Nelson Hess; from Monett, freshman and engineering major Jack G. Gibfried, senior and mechanical engineering major Tiffany Marie Newburry, sophomore and mechanical engineering major Andrew Hillman Rausch and senior and ceramic engineering major Luke William Verhoff. To be included on the honor list, students must have carried a minimum of 12 hours and had grade point averages of 3.2 or above out of a possible 4.0.

Missouri S&T awards degrees at annual commencement

Missouri University of Science and Technology awarded 800 candidates degrees during its commencement ceremonies on Saturday, Dec. 17, in Rolla. Among those were Seligman graduate Tammy Martin, graduating Cum Laude with a bachelor of science in chemistry. Cum laude indicates a GPA of 3.2-3.49. The university awards bachelor of science, bachelor of arts, master of science and doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees.
