Scouts clean up city park for community service project

Cub Scouts from Pack 76 and their parents convene after collecting several bags of trash from the grounds of the Cassville City Park Saturday morning.

Saturday morning, Cub Scouts from Pack 76 helped pick up trash in the Cassville City Park. Afterward, they were given free rein by their parents to play for working hard to help their community. Julia Kilmer/reporter@cassville-democrat.com
Cub Scouts from Pack 76, and their parents, picked up trash in the Cassville City Park Saturday morning as part of an annual clean up project for the city. Several large bins are placed throughout the park for visitors to place trash in, however the parking lot and general park area is usually littered with trash.
