Gail V. Hurlbut
Gail V. Hurlbut, 64, of Exeter, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017. She was born on Feb. 21, 1952, in Cassville, daughter of Murrell Park and Juanita (Smithson) Edens. She was a 1970 high school graduate of Exeter High School and later received her bachelorís degree from Missouri Southern.
She was employed as a paralegal for Senator Emory Melton and subsequently for the Collins, Webster and Rouse Law Firm in Joplin.
She was a member of the Fairview Christian Church in Carthage.
Survivors include: two sons, Jeff Hurlbut and his wife Tina, of Harrison, Ark., and Keith Hurlbut and his wife Nicole, of Carthage; one daughter, Annette Weston, of Exeter; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two half-brothers, Jeff Park, of Roeland Park, Kan., and Ronnie Park, of Kansas City; and one half-sister, Sheila Lemon, of Kansas City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two half-brothers and one sister.
Graveside services were held Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville with Pastor Kent Hogan officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville.
