Stella Eagle Day soars in Saturday

The Missouri Department of Conservation and Missouri Master Naturalists are sponsoring the 8th Annual Stella Eagle Day on Jan. 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A quilt show will also be held in the FEMA building. First, second, third and viewers choice awards will be given. Setup is Jan. 27 from 3-5 p.m., and there is no charge to enter. Judging will start at 11 a.m. on the 28th. Retirement reception being held for Patricia Ray

A retirement reception will be held for Patricia Ray on Feb. 23 from 2-4 p.m. at the Monett Casino. Ray served 35 years at the Barry-Lawrence County Development Center and recently retired. All people are invited to thank her for her dedication to helping children with developmental delays.
