Stella Eagle Day soars in Jan. 28

The Missouri Department of Conservation and Missouri Master Naturalists are sponsoring the 8th Annual Stella Eagle Day on Jan. 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A quilt show will also be held in the FEMA building. First, second, third and viewers choice awards will be given. Setup is Jan. 27 from 3-5 p.m., and there is no charge to enter. Judging will start at 11 a.m. on the 28th. Eagle Viewing scheduled at Roaring River State Park

An Eagle Viewing will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Ozark Chinquapin Nature Center at Roaring River State Park. A short video will be shown, and attendees should bring binoculars and dress for the weather.

Pop-Up library coming to Seligman

The Pop-Up Library will be at the Seligman City Hall Community Room from 1-4 p.m. on Monday. No library card is needed to take advantage of the free loan of library materials, with something for all ages. People may call 417-847-2121 for more information.
