On Jan. 6, seventh-and eighth-grade Cassville Middle School Band students auditioned and were selected to participate in the Southwest Missouri Junior High District Honor Band. In total, 28 different schools participated in a blind audition process to select the best players from each school to form one seventh-grade and one eighth-grade honor band. On Saturday, Jan. 14, the students will meet for a full day of rehearsal and will finish the evening with a concert. The concert will take place at Webb City High School at 5 p.m. and is open to the public.
