The block of 6th and Main got its turn with construction road blocks, noise and dust due to ongoing sidewalk construction by MoDOT and Branco workers. The improved, ADA-compliant sidewalks have been gradually taking shape along Main Street, offering a visual improvement to the cityscape, and easier traveling to those using the sidewalks. A Branco worker said the expected completion date is not for another four months, but crews are ahead of schedule and tentatively expecting to finish in mid-January.
