Rebecca Ann Skidmore
Rebecca Ann Skidmore, 81, of Seligman, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016, in her home.
She was born June 29, 1935, in Eureka Springs, Ark., the daughter of James Madison and Effie Jane (Baker) Moon. On May 20, 1956, she was united in marriage to Billy Don Skidmore, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Ron Skidmore; one brother, Paul Moon and two sisters, Carolyn Mahurin and Edith Pollick.
Survivors include: one son, William Skidmore and his wife Terry of Seligman; two daughters, Karla Fullerton of Centerton, Ark., and Sonja Ames of Seligman; one brother, Wayne Moon and his wife June of Gateway, Ark.; five sisters, Wanda Williams and Joyce Catron both of Seligman, Erma Helms of Garfield, Ark., Mildred Kavanaugh of Walnut, Kan., and Bonnie Shepherd of Rogers, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She grew up and received her education in Eureka Springs, Ark., where she graduated from high school. For several years, she was employed at Tyson Foods. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Seligman.
Funeral services wee held Friday, December at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Burial was at Seligman Cemetery at Seligman.
